FWIW: "The publisher and author have endured some public criticism for failing to provide a copy of the manuscript for government vetting before the book was announced. The Defense Department said last week that the author had violated department regulations requiring review of any official information intended for public release that relates to military matters, national security issues or subjects of significant concern to the department." http://mediadecoder.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/08/28/release-of-book-on-bin-laden-raid-is-moved-up-a-week/ http://tinyurl.com/9mv6pyr > The story, I heard in the media, is that all proceeds from this > book will go to charity. Why not hold off > judgment on this true American hero until he speaks? But the swift-boating of Kerry was entirely legitimate, wasn't it? So why should you object if this book swift- boats Obama? BTW, while the proceeds of sales of the book may be going to charity, I have my doubts as to whether the rest of the money he receives as a result of having written it will also go to charity (speaking fees, etc.). I could be wrong, but royalties are not the only income the author of a bestseller may derive from it.
