I think you got it right.  I personally feel that the
CiM hierarchical schema is simplistic and only correct
if one bends one's perception of the world to believe
it, but assuming one does believe it, Yes, I think some
people react negatively to places like strip clubs 
because *their* attention gets stuck on the surface
when they're there.  Therefore they assume that every-
one else's attention will get stuck there as well.
