I'd say it's a perfect example of the fear factor, I haven't heard a better one in a while. He or she is afraid that if they reveal who they are, the TMO goons will prevent them from going into the Dome--a classic case.

Oh, I'm not saying it doesn't exist.  (That's why I said
"in most cases" below, don'cha know.)  But changing one's
screen name here to avoid being identified with a group of
naysayers and perhaps losing one's dome badge just doesn't
fall into the "fear factor" category.
