Allowing the Chinese to abort any child they want may have a very positive consequence from their perspective. When such a high value is placed on males and low value on females, the females are aborted under the one child policy, making an over abundance of males and too few females in the future. This means fewer women to bare children of either sex. It also means a humongous amount of unmarried young men fit for the military life. God!
