The ME is something I'd love to believe in: the field effects of consciousness. However the empirical evidence (regardless of what John H. and Bevan say) show that this effect, if it can be measured at all, is extremely weak. Another rather bizarre phenomenon is that it doesn't appear to work in Fairfield! That in itself is enough to argue that the theory has to be reworked.
