I haven't spent any time in a monastery, and I'm not at all informed concerning the lineage issues, but boy, I've seen quite a bit of intellectual dishonesty in her responses. Put that together with the snark and the ego, and she really turns me off. Maybe that's just personality and has nothing to do with her state of consciousness and her ability to help her followers achieve enlightenment; and perhaps some folks find it appealing, but it sure isn't the kind of thing that would attract me to a teacher.
