-An alternative to a. simply an extraordinary human and b. a unique, Divine entity (God or God-like...as in "true God and true Man" - the Nicean Creed and the Athanasian Creed, defining dogmas of Cathlocity.). ...would be an entity intermediate between "God" (a Monotheistic Personal Deity) and humans. The Jehovah's Witness concept of Jesus fits into this category, since from the JW perspective, Jesus is the redeemer, the Savior and Messiah; but NOT God! (that title alone reserved for YHVH)...according to the JW. (but still unacceptable to Judaism). The ancient Greeks seemed to belittle YHVH, placing him in the "Demi" or half-God category.
