I read Eragon by Christopher Paolini. I enjoyed it a lot (star wars with dragons) and at one of his book signings I asked him what authors he liked. He said he really enjoyed the Riftwar series by Raymond E. Feist. I bought Magician (authors preferred edition) couldnt put it down. I believe ray was on the Serpent War at this time, i caught up to the series and began awaiting new books.
Magician remains my favorite book in the series, one of my favorite books of all time.
