Hi, The reason I suspected heartworm is because he had a transient cough most of his short life. I knew cats could get heartworm and I always worried about this. She mainly used the revolution because of his ear mites. I am always battling these here. She may well be the vet that told me it might be time to pts Junior. I am glad I did not listen. He is a fighter. I knew one tretment would not do anything even if he had heart worms. This is the URI that I think was the beginning of my FELV infection with my cats. It seems to have started at this time.
