If he has an upper respiratory infection he could be having trouble smelling and cats eat by smell. If he has a fever, he won't want to eat...If he hasn't eaten all day (and yesterday)? he is getting into risk of liver failure. Join the feline assisted feeding yahoo group immediately and find out what to do to get him eating. Do you have an ER clinic in your area? I recommend syringe feeding him. First offer him canned tuna or some cooked chicken thighs. ANYTHING. If he still won't eat, water down canned food with warm water and syringe feed him.
