I KNOW, THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO SEEM TO LIVE TO SUE, BUT WHEN I GO TO A SHELTER
FOR AN ANIMAL AND I AM BITTEN WHILE HOLDING OR PETTING SAID ANIMAL, I ASSUME
THAT IT IS MY FAULT, NOT THE SHELTER'S. IN FACT, I PLANNED ON ADOPTING A MANX
THAT WAS DIABETIC AND NEEDED SPECIAL CARE. TOOK MY REMAINING BOY TO MEET HER
ON HER TURF TO SEE HOW THEY REACTED TO EACH OTHER. WELL, ALL WAS FINE UNTIL
SHE HISSED AND SWATTED AT HIM AND HE RAN UNDER A DESK, GOT TANGLED UP IN PC
CORDS AND WHEN I TRIED TO GET HIM OUT, HE LET ME HAVE IT BUT GOOD. WE GOT IT
BANDAGED UP, I WENT TO WALMART, GOT SOME PEROXIDE AND BANDAGES ALONG WITH SOME
BETADINE WHICH HOSPITAL HAS USED ON ME BEFORE FOR A BITE. I WENT HOME, TREATED
IT AND THAT WAS THAT. THEY CALLED ME A COUPLE OF TIME TO SEE HOW I WAS AND DID
I WANT THEM TO REPORT TO INSURANCE. I KNOW THEY WERE WORRIED THAT I WOULD SUE.
BUT THAT IS THE RISK YOU TAKE WITH ANIMALS. IT WAS MY FAULT, I SHOULD HAVE
WAITED A BIT FOR HIM TO CAL DOWN AND MADE SURE HIS LEGS WERE FREE OF THE CORDS.
SO NOW, I HAVE A NEW SCAR, BIG DEAL.
