i'm hoping that belinda sees this--i THINK that she's got all the literature references. what i'd been remembering is what i'm hearing back--that hemobartenellwhatever MUST be ruled out, as well as whether it's another form of regenerative anemia.....
i'd forgotten about the one untyped/crossmatched transfusion without trouble--again, this isn't the end of things that i usually work with! thanks to all--i'm sending things along.
