You're mistaken.

FeLV-B is a recombinant virus; a unique FeLV-B is created each time FeLV-A
recombines with enFeLV SU gp70 sequences already present in the cat's
cellular DNA

FeLV-C arises from FeLV-A through both mutation and recombination with
enFeLV sequences.

Once again, only FeLV is transmitted contagiously among cats.  All
FeLV-infected cats are infected with FeLV-A, but not necessarily with FeLV-B
and/or FeLV-C.
