Sometimes, to actually show off all the colours, you may even try a very dark weft, such as black or dark brown. I often end up trying lots of different samples when weaving. The plans often get changed. Your ideas on colour are interesting and I was thinking that there actually is a formula out there where you might add up the values to get a certain total. It sounds like an interesting concept, but I am not certain if I am just dreaming. Like, yellow is 2, purple is 9, but then you would aim for a higher total, such as 100. Sounds like an interesting experiment, sort of like a Fibonacci series. But, I don't know if such a thing exists.
