Offering some clarification..... I wouldn't disqualify those who use commercial preps, or those who do hand preparation for that matter.
I just feel that someone who has taken the time to learn, then use, hand preparation techniques should receive some credit for that, as opposed to someone who has simply chosen a commercial preparation off a shelf.
