If you're interested in weave structure, the direction in which the threads
were spun and all that technical stuff I can recommend Lise Bender
Jorgensen's "North European Textiles until AD 1000" (1992). She catagorises,
analyses and describes all (?) textile remains from the period mention in
the title.
