Hi Holly- As one who fully uses the interlibrary system and has since I was a kid, I have a suggestion. Also, my husband is the town librarian here. Try calling the state library in Lansing. I am thinking there may be a way that the local library is not willing to tell you as it is a lot of work for them. Here in Vermont the librarian gets on the state library Web site and can search the entire state for a book. Sometimes it takes quite a while to find it. Some libraries do loans for free (the receiving library) and some charge for postage.
I'ld be mad too. When Bob worked at the University of Iowa library I had a field day. I could log on at home and search U of I as well as many other university libraries. He could request the books at work and we could keep for up to 6 months if they were not requested by someone else. I pulled a lot of very unusual books as a result. Now I don't have the database to search. Good luck. Jane
Holly who couldn't find the Bog book on any used or new book search <sigh>
