I just have to say - knitting with my handspun wool is sooo much more enjoyable than knitting with acrylic. I just finished an acrylic sweater for my daughter (she doesn't want wool) and it was not an enjoyable experience. Now I've started a sweater for my son in law with my handspun wool (3-ply, will be a heavy sweater) and this is so great to work with. Now I know why my friend Becky calls acrylic "fake yarn" there's nothing natural about it!
