And I finally remembered I have Kati's book on Lithuanian weaving. And
yes, it has a great drawing of the trapeze in use. She divides her
warps into two sections for warping and weights them separately.
I'm still having a problem with the selvages in the plain weave hem
sections. I weave those with a lighter weight cotton yarn--the rest of
the towel is all 8/2; I use 16/2 for the hem's weft. Those areas *only*
have 'smiling' selvages. Very annoying--I can hide it a bit when I sew
the hem, but there's a bit of a smile left to the end of the towel.
