Goes to show how bad my memory is (not to mention my filing of magazines
:) I thought there was a pictures in the article, but there's not. I
mixed up 96 and 97 magazines, and didn't actually look at the Sep/Oct 96
issue, so missed the fine threads article. It just gives a verbal
description of the trapeze, anyway.
And thanks, Cathy, for posting the link to the trapeze 'movie'. I wish
it showed more detail. I emailed the weaver to ask a couple questions.
I finally finished beaming my 3rd warp for the dish towels yesterday,
and wove 4 towels. I have to iron and pin hems on the 2nd warp today,
so they'll be available for the odd moments of time to hand sew.
I got so much done yesterday (in spite of it being Zack's day off, so I
had to also go to the grocery store and help him with various projects),
that I rewarded myself with knitting on my sweater in the evening :)
I've almost finished the first repeat of the main part of the
design--about 30 rows total. I must say I love this project! Maybe it
will be done before snow flies, it's been such a warm fall. Of course,
they're predicting snow on Monday, but when do they EVER get the weather
even remotely right that far in advance? The prediction for TODAY is
usually way off :)
