Hi, I read your post to my hubby and he said generally speaking when a sheep
blows its coat like that it is getting over something, some sort of stress,
usually a fever.

In the meantime, many of my sheep are losing much of their fleece --
starting with the back, so that they have this "friar tuck" thing goin' on.
