That hasn't been my experience--what kind of angora were you using?
I've used English, French, Satin, and German adult angora, pure, in all
sorts of things, including mittens, wimples, and other items I can't
quite remember at the moment, with no felting problems of any kind--of
course, I didn't go wash the dinner dishes while wearing the mittens :)
Angora from baby bunnies is supposed to felt very easily, but I never
used it for anything.
