I'm a reed beach mat person......if I use paper I use a lining wallpaper sort of thing.....not the preglued sort though.
The reed mats are easy to store - I've not tried the 'plastic' sort but I think they would be good too. The drop silently onto the floor as well....one less noisy thing happening. I have never had a helper with winding warps and I have rarely had weight/tension problems of such a big magnitude that I want to tear the warp from the loom I patiently work the winding, tension bit by bit.....if it's not going right I leave the loom alone and come back much later :-) Cathy who threaded up her loom last week.......a few hiccups trying to remember what went where.....as the loom has had a 12months leave of absence. I am weaving some more scarves that are very bright......the bright ones had all been sold!!
