Maxtor recalled some drives not too long ago... I had one of their drives
that was not on the list and was having MUCH trouble with it.  I would spend
a little more money and get a 7200 or better RPM drive, and go with an IBM.
They are very well rated.

My last h/d upgrade was from a 5400 to  7200 rpm
The access time difference is like night and day.

If it's images you're wanting to store and retrieve
then I'd highly recommend a 7200 rpm drive.
