OK this is totally unrelated to the Mac crashes, but of course I wonder what's going on. I haven't had any such reports. Of course I don't really support Win98 any more, but it shouldn't crash ... is that a recent version of TGTools? Current TGTools versions are: Windows : 2.28d Mac OS 9: 2.28a Mac OS X: 2.28f (from today). More important info from my recent mail to the TGTools subscribers: On OS X, the last update fixed some of the dialog strings. The dialogs with explainers in them didn't show up correctly in 2.28e. Especially on Panther (10.3), you should have the latest version for stability reasons. Occasionally, I hear that the TGTools menu doesn't always work on OS X. The technology behind the menu is different from OS 9. Here are two workarounds that you can try whenever you find that the TGTools menu seems to be on strike: - use Cmd-Shift-R once (which is the keyboard shortcut for repeating the last TGTools command), - try invoking one of the few TGTools items bundled with Finale. Sometimes this seems to fix the full TGTools menu. Since Finale 2004b, TGTools suffers from another problem which I haven't been able to fix yet: when dragging the Align/Move dialog across the screen, Finale quits immediately, without the chance to save your work. I am very sad about this and I hope to find a remedy in the next couple of weeks. Please don't move such TGTools windows.
