I hear MOTU's upcoming orchestra sampler, MSI contains 8GB of superb solo instrument samples which seems to includes historical instruments including gamba, but of course this is moot since MakeMusic is now sleeping with Native Instruments and shutting everything else out. This is upsetting me right now. Here is MSI: <http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/SymphInst/> It just doesn't make sense to me. If Finale advertises support of VST/ AU then why they cripple and only allowing NI, why I won't be able to use my sample players such as MachFive which is 100% VST/AU compliant and which I spend a lot of money and time for. As far as I know, no other company has done this kind of limitation. Oh well... I happened to be upset with NI right now because their web auth screwed my GPO registration, and they are not helping me. -- - Hiro Hiroaki Honshuku, A-NO-NE Music, Boston, MA <http://a-no-ne.com> <http://anonemusic.com> _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [email protected] http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
