Yes, I deserve humiliation.
But, thanks to a few people reported and warned on this list, I
immediately went back to the last saved version, and my loss was quite
minimal. Another thing is I never turn on auto save in any apps in my
life :-)
Nope, I didn't have the file open more than 60 min. The only clue
here
is, once again, multiple files were open at the time. What triggered
this bug was to copy a few bars from one file to the another. The
target file was the one got hit.
At this point, I am quite sure all of this is related to the legacy
temp
file system Finale uses.
