Actually, I think it should work. There is a tuning dial which actually detunes in half steps. I can turn it down to -12. However, unfortunately when I load the solo double bass Finale will reliably crash on the next save. So I haven't tested it properly yet.
However, what I can't get to work is this: I would also like a harpsichord to playback on the same channel. I can set this easily, but when I play back the harpsichord blows my ears away, while I can't hear anything else. Is there anyway to turn down the volume of only the harpsichord?
