I have tweaked them a bit, as well as my spaces between items like
music after a barline. Maybe some of that changed things. I don't often
put in parenthesised dynamics anyway (not my line of work most often)
but maybe I would see more problems if I did it all the time, like some
of the users here on the list who specialise in editions of older
music.
I just thought of the perfect way to add a little more space between
the left parenthesis and the forte. A space in a very small point size
would be easily adjustable and consistent. Maybe everyone already does
this, but I just thought of it!
