Don Hart wrote of problems with text blocks on a second page. 

I was involved in a presentation of the Bach St. Matthew Passion, and 
prepared a giving the original German text in one column, the English 
translation beside it, and entering the chorale tunes at the appropriate 
points to facilitate the efforts of those who wanted to sing along on 
the chorales.  I did not have the problems he described.  However, I did 
the chorales as I progressed through the program.   Maybe determining 
and locking the layout of the music page before adding any text blocks 
on the text page might resolve the issue.
