I used to do that, but now I'm more often using START NEW SYSTEM in measure properties, instead. The drawback on that is that it doesn't get cleared when making parts. It would be nice if extracting parts ignored system breaks in the score. Or, if you could set a system break in the score separate from the parts -- is that by chance possible with linked parts? -- David W.
