I am finding the new expression system to be good for me in some
ways (ability to assign meta tools to multiple expressions at one
time), but in other ways, not so good. As I pointed out, and
Christopher confirmed, dynamics are not associated with notes in
other layers (than layer 1), so they do not automatically space
themselves (vertically) when entered in layer 2, for instance.
(Bass drum notes in a drum set part are the issue for me.)
