even stranger, the last time i worked on this score i actually zipped copies for all FANs needed for it and printed the final score PDF the next day. but now both my current and the backed up FANs show this shift (well, they should in fact be identical, i haven't adjusted the FAN for this font in ages)... it makes no sense... is it possible that suddenly the programme is reading them differently?!?!
the PDF looks fine but now in finale there are above-note slur/notehead collisions and position errors of articulations.
it looks like my font annotation file has somehow been altered globally. the top values are adjusted so that the upper line of the bounding (red) rectangle are all about 80 values too low. is there a way to alter this globally? is there an explanation for what happened?
