I am watching this thread with interest, since something similar has happened to me with some of Bill Duncan's fonts the last two times I upgraded Finale versions (2010 and 2011). I found no other solution than to manually repair the annotation files for the particular symbols (interestingly, it did not happen with all the symbols in any of the affected font sets - Chord Sym, Articulations and Salzedo). The repair process was exacerbated by the fact that the red boundary lines were so far out of the adjustment box's boundaries that I could not see or reach them to adjust them with the mouse, so I had to guess numerical values, close and re-open the adjustment dialog window in order to see the result of my estimates and continue that inefficient process until I narrowed the errors. The location of FAN files changed at least once, and moving older (correct) FAN files into the new location solved part of the problem back in the 2010 conversion. Not that this makes any sense to me - since the relocation of the FAN files (and other "Application Support") made the big move in 2011. But, as some of you who follow my posts will recognize, my memory for these mechanical details is unreliable. I tend to muck around until I find something that fixes a problem and then forget how I accomplished it. Anyway, there seems to be a mystery here that I thought might have been a quirk of my system, but now that jef has experienced something similar, I think the collective list-brain may find a solution.
