Yeah, all my slurs suddenly started attaching way too high on any note with a Bill Duncan articulation on it. The other things didn't happen to me, though.

I am watching this thread with interest, since something similar has happened to me with some of Bill Duncan's fonts the last two times I upgraded Finale versions (2010 and 2011). I found no other solution than to manually repair the annotation files for the particular symbols (interestingly, it did not happen with all the symbols in any of the affected font sets - Chord Sym, Articulations and Salzedo). The repair process was exacerbated by the fact that the red boundary lines were so far out of the adjustment box's boundaries that I could not see or reach them to adjust them with the mouse, so I had to guess numerical values, close and re-open the adjustment dialog window in order to see the result of my estimates and continue that inefficient process until I narrowed the errors. The location of FAN files changed at least once, and moving older (correct) FAN files into the new location solved part of the problem back in the 2010 conversion. Not that this makes any sense to me - since the relocation of the FAN files (and other "Application Support") made the big move in 2011. But, as some of you who follow my posts will recognize, my memory for these mechanical details is unreliable. I tend to muck around until I find something that fixes a problem and then forget how I accomplished it. Anyway, there seems to be a mystery here that I thought might have been a quirk of my system, but now that jef has experienced something similar, I think the collective list-brain may find a solution.

I had this happen with Engraver Font a while back. I was not able to find a solution other than manually re-doing all the Font Annotation files. I would try a confirmed good FAN file for Engraver from another computer, but when I loaded it on my machine, all of the boxes were the wrong height, in all versions of Finale on my computer. Very weird.

even stranger, the last time i worked on this score i actually zipped copies for all FANs needed for it and printed the final score PDF the next day. but now both my current and the backed up FANs show this shift (well, they should in fact be identical, i haven't adjusted the FAN for this font in ages)... it makes no sense... is it possible that suddenly the programme is reading them differently?!?!

the PDF looks fine but now in finale there are above-note slur/ notehead collisions and position errors of articulations.

it looks like my font annotation file has somehow been altered globally. the top values are adjusted so that the upper line of the bounding (red) rectangle are all about 80 values too low. is there a way to alter this globally? is there an explanation for what happened?
