When I did 'fink list' after removing the .info/.patch files for version
2.4.25 and added those of 2.4.23-5 into /sw/fink/10.2/local/main/finkinfo
directory, I don't see 2.4.23-5 to show up. Rather, it's still 2.4.25-3.

I then removed libxml2 ('fink remove libxml2'). It removed the package from
the list. I could not do the same for -bin or -shlibs because of dependency
problem.

Now when I do a 'fink index' then 'fink list', I don't libxml2 any more on
the list.

Alexander Hansen has suggested to force remove it. I will give that a try.
However, I think that Alexander Hansen is probably right earlier that Fink
is not seeing the .info file. Should I do 'fink selfupdate-cvs'? Would not
that replace the old libxml2 .info/.patch (version 2.4.23-5) files?
