That's the version for 10.2.8/stable. 10.2.8/unstable has 0.74
that's interesting. which trees do you take from? i must be taking
from the wrong ones
The 10.2-gcc3.3/unstable tree has 0.74, the 10.2/unstable tree has
0.71. The 10.2 tree is basically left to rot. If you are on 10.2, you
should have the up-to-date dev tools, so that your tree is
10.2-gcc3.3. Funny, wasn't this thread about cutting edge? If your are
trying to install the latest versions of your applications, it might
be a good idea to install the latest version of the underlying tools,
too (and maybe even of the underlying operating system :-) ).

i have gone through the 10.2-gcc3.3/unstable tree, it appears not to
have the stuff i'm looking for. and i have downloaded the newest
developer tools, i have gcc3.3
