Just because you have them installed doesn’t always mean that fink can find
them. We don’t try to support modifications to the system area, and
third-party compilers may hide Apple’s.
What do you get from running the following :
which gcc
type -a gcc
gcc --version
which g++
type -a g++
g++ --version
