I like the idea of a new mailing list for a couple of reasons:

1) Coordinating the translation efforts.
2) Users can check the archives to see what changes have been made in the docs recently, if people are diligent about posting a message on the list as well as in the CVS log.

Well, could you work something out with Baba? We could have a mailing list
where changes are posted, and wait for the translations, or things could
just continue as is with the faq being updated in English and getting
translated later.


I think the best idea would be a bit of both, post the changes and then
commit them. This would be a little more work for the original author, but
would also mean that the translator would not have to follow the commits
list carefully. However, I think I should just be quiet and let the actual
docs people sort it out :)
