One more thought occurred to me too: if this list allowed posting, people could put in their suggestions for the documentation there, rather than on the main lists.


Not only that you could simply go:

"Call to all translators, please translate"

and they simply post the result back to the list. That is how it works for MailScanner (MailScanner.info) and that is quite a big project with some languages supported.
