I just upgraded to 10.3.3.
[localhost:~] [**myuserid**] % fink -V Package manager version: 0.20.1 Distribution version: 0.7.0.cvs
selfupdate-rsync isn't working for me. I get a host of errors like:
rsync: recv_generator: mkdir "10.3/unstable/main/finkinfo/utils": No such file or directory (2)
stat 10.3/unstable/main/finkinfo/utils : No such file or directory
Wild guess: Some rogue kext, like the one from StuffitPro that was producing similar errors some time ago, see the Fink News page. Look at the list of kexts with kextstat, like
kextstat | grep -v com.apple
[]
... so I tried CVS.
When I try cvs, I don't encounter any errors. Unfortunately, I also don't get any 10.3 packages. Just so you know what I mean:
[localhost:~] [**myuserid**]% cd /sw/fink/10.3/ [localhost:/sw/fink/10.3] [**myuserid**]% ls total 8 drwxr-xr-x 5 [**myuserid**] admin 170 12 May 21:01 . drwxr-xr-x 16 [**myuserid**] admin 544 12 May 21:01 .. -rw-r--r-- 1 [**myuserid**] admin 989 3 Jul 2003 IDEAS drwxr-xr-x 4 root admin 136 12 May 18:01 stable drwxr-xr-x 4 root admin 136 12 May 18:01 unstable
If you "tried CVS", there should be a directory named CVS here. What were the errors when you ran selfupdate-cvs?
