I get an incorrect checksum when downloading term-ansicolor-rb from several sites. Perhaps the file needs reloading?
The fink package description was based on the file on the master site (the pacakge "homepage"). I just checked and it's still in agreement. http://www.ping.de/~flori/ruby/programs/ruby/term-ansicolor-0.0.2.tgz is a 9352-byte file with MD5 027e0ee9fb7213f3b8443d51c2666fa3. So it sounds like fink's mirror is what's broken. What happens if you download from the master instead of a mirror? You can configure fink to search the mirrors and/or master sites in various orders.
curl -f -L -O[same result]
http://distfiles.per.wa.au.finkmirrors.net/term-ansicolor-0.0.2.tgz
% Total % Received % Xferd Average Speed Time Curr.
Dload Upload Total Current Left Speed
100 9352 100 9352 0 0 9802 0 0:00:00 0:00:00 0:00:00 12801
The checksum of the file term-ansicolor-0.0.2.tgz of package
term-ansicolor-rb-0.0.2-3 is incorrect. The most likely cause for this
is a corrupted or incomplete download
Expected: 027e0ee9fb7213f3b8443d51c2666fa3
Actual: 1906234d4b653fe637519752521974a1
It is recommended that you download it again. How do you want to proceed?
(1) Give up (2) Delete it and download again (3) Assume it is a partial download and try to continue (4) Don't download, use existing file
Make your choice: [2]
If you have configured a mix of mirrors, do you not get an option of trying a different mirror? I.e., you got a broken file from one site, so try a *different* site instead of the same broken one?
