The fink package description was based on the file on the master site
(the pacakge "homepage"). I just checked and it's still in agreement.
http://www.ping.de/~flori/ruby/programs/ruby/term-ansicolor-0.0.2.tgz
is a 9352-byte file with MD5 027e0ee9fb7213f3b8443d51c2666fa3. So it
sounds like fink's mirror is what's broken. What happens if you
download from the master instead of a mirror? You can configure fink
to search the mirrors and/or master sites in various orders.

[same result]

If you have configured a mix of mirrors, do you not get an option of
trying a different mirror? I.e., you got a broken file from one site,
so try a *different* site instead of the same broken one?
