First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... I'm not sure anybody has that extension wire, pn 11. I checked around some last winter when I was working on my linkage. The spring on mine has a long straight section, instead of using the extension (I think it is original). I was going to replace it but ended up keeping it when I couldn't find the extension piece. Bob S. In a message dated 9/28/2008 12:29:50 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes:
OK, I found the diagram that shows the extension wire: http://www.bafb.org/1968firebird.org/illustrated/clutch/clutch1.html The one they provide in the kit is PN 21 on the diagram, which is for a 6 cyl. The one for an 8 cyl is shorter, see PN 11 on the diagram. The return spring bracket, which does not come with the kit, is PN 17 on the diagram. CI sells this but I think I'm burnt out on buying parts from them. Thanks, Sheen **************Looking for simple solutions to your real-life financial challenges?
