I'm not sure anybody has that extension wire, pn 11.  I checked around  some 
last winter when I was working on my linkage.  The spring on mine has  a long 
straight section, instead of using the extension (I think it is  original).  I 
was going to replace it but ended up keeping it when I  couldn't find the 
extension piece.

The  one they provide in the kit is PN 21 on the diagram, which is for a 6 
cyl. The  one for an 8 cyl is shorter, see PN 11 on the diagram. The return 
spring  bracket, which does not come with the kit, is PN 17 on the diagram. CI 
sells  this but I think I'm burnt out on buying parts from them.
