The bracket that mounts to your subframe has a dogleg bend. Does the
top part
bend towards the engine, or away? If it were turned towards the engine,
would it
close the gap between your bellcrank and the pivot ball?

Called Ames today. Their bellcrank is 9" and the pivot ball w/out thread is 1
3/4", same exact as CI's kit. Bummer!
