Can I try it on your door first? Lol. I don't know about that. I put one on my 
D-side door and it indented the contact point on the door. The gap on the 
P-door is smaller and if it does't give/adjust like you're saying, I could end 
up with a lame repair on a freshly painted door jamb. I'll take a good look at 
this. I think I'd rather try adjusting it in a vice or some kind of press.
