know what it was from the factory and the options ordered on it.

HI All....
Don't want to jinx things but I am going to look at a 69 400/400 this
weekend.  Having never had one and am not going to have time to do a
historical search, am asking what the sure fire signs are that it is not
cloned.  I know the 400's had the front "x" pans on the rad support, 400 on
the left side of the trunk lid, of course the 400 hood, the pontiac symbol
on the bumper.  He says it is an original car even down to the carb and
distributor, 66000 miles, he has had the car since 1976 with only 1 repaint
in 1983.  Going to search our first gen website for codes and such, but
would appreciate the help from the experts here.
