First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... I have the correct 69 disc brake master on my 69 Judge, and it is probably the same. If you have the orignal to rebuild later, you could just get a parts store master for now. If you get no answer, I'll try to look tonight.
If you get to the point of really restoring/rebuilding the master/booster, I know a guy that does actual gold cadmium instead of gold zinc. Most of the large restorers use zinc which was not used until 1972, and they don't know what was originally used because I have spoken with one of them. Zinc is bright and shiney instead of mottled/understated looking as they originally came. sorry to get off on a tangent here...................... --- On Thu, 11/19/09, rick watz <[email protected]> wrote: > From: rick watz <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: [FGF] master cylinder clarification needed > To: "First Generation Firebird-L" <[email protected]> > Date: Thursday, November 19, 2009, 9:09 AM > First Generation Firebird-L Mailing > List > ......................................................................... > Hi Michael...the previous owner packaged up what he told me > is the original master cylinder.
