I've also used the Roloc discs  for sanding but they can create scratches  in
metal, so I try to avoid them for exterior surfaces.  I used a large disk for
cutting the 20 or so layers of paint, I really goofed up, I was better off
sanding with 800 or so.... or even paint stripper.  I sprayed 2 layers of
primer Y2K down and then blocking and sealing, it turned out great, as a matter
of fact I love my new paint job so much I am afraid to put the rest of it
together for fear of scratching it..... So my 455 stroker sits and waits..... I
did start it today :-)

IT really rumbles the  bldg LOL... Frank Zeller and I have build one hell of as
modest motor here.....

I had a local painter stop by today for a beer and look at it, and said he
would have charged over 10K for a paint job that nice...and now he wants me to
do a couple jobs for him, I recommended Daniel Ray, I told him Daniel was the
best painter I knew, and it was worth the trip to Ga to get it done. ... I just
smiled and when he left I went back to work on my 65 GTO...... Pictures someday
I think...

Guys, seriously if you want the  best body and paint you will ever get for a
reasonable price haul you bird to Ga, Daniel Ray is the best Painter I know
of..... period .... bar none.....

I have seen his work......

Just Smile...   It makes people wonder what you have been up too...
