Hi All, Thanks for your feedback, I went back out and used a timing light to determine that not all cylinders were firing..... This led me to check the distributor, and voila' - the rotor was trashed, the plastic internal key was broken/scraped away. It was actually stuck on the #5 cylinder! I replaced the rotor, retimed the engine and it seems to run just fine now.
